Professor Amina Memon visits the Psych-AID Network in Finland
The Psych-AID Network had the pleasure of hosting Professor Amina Memon (Professor of Psychology and Director of the Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law at Royal Holloway, University of London) in June for a research visit. Her stay was filled with thought-provoking discussions about the role of psychology in promoting fairness, quality interviewing, and decision-making in the asylum context. She also discussed ideas for future research and collaborations.
Professor Memon’s visit marked a wonderful conclusion of a productive academic year for the network. Her research work is one of the pioneering psychological investigations in the field of asylum and international protection.
