
Hüseyin Ali Kudret (they/them) is a human rights activist and lawyer with over a decade of experience in advocacy and activism. Originally from Turkey, they sought refuge in the Netherlands, where they graduated cum laude with an LLM in Public International Law from Utrecht University, specialising in human rights and refugee law. Hüseyin’s work focuses on equality, non-discrimination, and the protection of LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers, combining legal expertise with grassroots activism. They have contributed to organisations such as Amnesty International, NJCM, and COC Regio Nijmegen, while publishing on international law, migration, and human rights. They bring a strong commitment to justice, inclusion, and the empowerment of marginalised communities.
