RelEx Hosts a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Academic Research

Recognizing the growing importance and limitless possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the RelEx project hosted a hybrid seminar on the various uses of AI in Academic research on September 15th, 2025.

The event featured presentations from Nurit Novis-Deutsch and Tomás Lehecka, who shared their insights on the different AI tools and their application across the various stages of research. The presentations were followed by an open discussion with the RelEx team, who reflected on the various uses of AI and the possible risks posed by AI biases, hindrance of creativity, and insecure handling of data.

The seminar introduced our team to several potential uses of AI while recognizing its limitations. Understanding that AI is constantly evolving, this session serves as part of an ongoing discussion rather than a one-time conversation.
