This interdisciplinary conference invites scholarship engaging with a range of methodological approaches, including ethnography, anthropology, systematic theology, ecclesiology, practical theology, and social science perspectives. Her paper, entitled &#8220;Mutual Learning between Researcher and Studied Communities as a Method in Liberationist Fieldwork in South Africa,&#8221; examined the epistemological implications of participant observation within a liberationist ethnographic framework. The paper discussed mutual learning as a critical methodological approach to liberationist ethnographic research.
