Dr T\u00f6redi’s study is titled \u201cTrust and Technology: Rethinking Interpretation in Asylum Interviews\u201d and aims to disentangle the effects of trust and confidentiality concerns from those arising from interpretation quality and other cross-cultural influences in interpreter-mediated asylum interviews. The study will employ an empirical investigation using AI as a methodological tool to isolate and examine these influences. The grant will facilitate a comprehensive pilot study designed to generate preliminary evidence and insights that will inform the development of a larger, more systematic project with multiple studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
