She has specialized in SOGIESC asylum claims since 2012, working as a public counsel representing LGBTQI+ asylum seekers, today mainly working with research, legal advice, political advocacy and education of i.a. NGO&#8217;s, lawyers, interpreters, law students, the Swedish Migration Agency and health care staff. She has studied approximately 4000 individual SOGIESC asylum decisions and judgements between 2012 and 2025 from the Swedish Migration Agency, the Migration Courts and the Migration Court of Appeal. Her research is used i.a. by the Swedish Migration Agency with whom RFSL and RFSL Youth have a close dialogue to improve the quality of decision-making.
