Jenny\u00a0Skrifvars is a postdoctoral researcher within the network. She defended her doctoral thesis on investigating and improving the quality of Finnish asylum interviewing and decision-making practices in October 2024. As part of her doctoral research, she and her team developed and evaluated a novel training program in investigative interviewing and legal psychology for asylum officials in Finland. Jenny\u2019s current research interests include improving interviewing strategies in asylum interviews, focusing specifically on rapport- and trust building, as well as efficient instructing of the applicant. Other research interests include interviewer training, cross-cultural decision-making, and credibility assessments in the asylum context.\u00a0Jenny is also a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a specialist in Forensic Psychology.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
