Scott Renneckar: New perspectives on lignin and xylan based bioproducts

Dr. Renneckar is a Canada Research Chair in Advanced Renewable Materials serving as a professor in the Department of Wood Science and program director of the Forest Bioeconomy Sciences and Technology degree at the University of British Columbia. He studied polymer science applied to wood materials at Virginia Tech (BS and PhD), and UC Berkeley (MS). He has been a professor since 2005 and is passionate about utilizing modern era carbon to address the growing demand for consumable goods and products.
