Welcome to MicrobeCruise 4.9.2024!

MicrobCruise meeting will be organized jointly by Microbe Centre (UTU, Varha), Centre of Excellence in Infections and Microbes (Tyks, Varha), and Microbes and Immunity Research Programme (MIRP, UTU).

This scientific meeting takes place as a mini-cruise by Viking line (Turku-Maarianhamina-Turku). We will start with a breakfast on the boat after which the scientific programme at the congress center kicks off. After switching the ship in the afternoon, buffet dinner will be served followed by a Science Slam-style competition for doctoral researchers.

Registration is free of charge for all the participants. We will collect personal data only for the shipping company (Viking Line). In case you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation ASAP but latest at 23.6.2023. Cancellation after this timepoint or no-show leads to collection of 50 € cancellation fee.
