Field of View and Turku BioImaging Image Competition

We are encouraging everyone to submit their most vibrant microscopy image, a stunning PET scan, or another visually captivating scientific image! This is a fantastic opportunity not just to let the world know how good your images are, but also to win a prize of 500EUR to use for costs.

Name your file so it follows “imagename_lastname” structure. Feel free to attach image description as well. Deadline to upload your image is 15.08.2026.   

Winner will be announced during BioCity Symposium in August! 

By submitting images to the competition, participants retain full copyright and ownership of their work, but grant TBI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, exhibit, and use the images, in whole or in part, across all media platforms (including digital and print) for purposes such as advertising, promotional materials, and other communications. This license does not transfer ownership, and participants remain free to use their images for any other purposes outside of the competition. Importantly, TBI will ensure that all images used are properly credited to their respective authors, providing appropriate recognition for their contributions.
