Key elements in leading a pharmaceutical company

Participants of the course will be introduced to the key concepts of post-research elements of pharmaceutical company. The focus is in leading and managing an enterprise operating in an international, complex, regulated industry. Furthermore, participants are encouraged to actively participate in class discussions to deepen their understanding of the topics. The aim is to familiarise students with the complexities related to pharmaceutical industry operations.
Prerequisites: The course is aimed at advanced students interested in practical operations of pharmaceutical industry. There are no pre-requisites for the course, however, active participation in the discussion is expected. Understanding elementary financial analysis vocabulary will benefit the participant.
Course structure: The course introduces key disciplines in pharmaceutical industry by industry practitioners. Each lecture is followed by Q&A where course participants have an opportunity to test their own hypothesis or practical examples against those of the lecturer. Lecture notes will be provided in Moodle. Participants can obtain 1 ECTS credit upon completion.
The course starts with an opening lecture on October 30 at 16–18 and is open to everyone interested, so save the date and register!
