Basics of Research Data Management (BRDM, 3 ECTS)

Course for doctoral students and researchers: Basics of Research Data Management (BRDM, 3 ECTS).

The course starts on January 29, 2026. In the course, you will learn the basics of responsible data management in different research contexts, and write a data management plan (DMP) for your research project. Choose the programme that suits you best from four options: Natural sciences, Health sciences, Qualitative research, Survey research. The language of instruction is English. It is possible to participate in the course remotely, some modules are self-study modules while others are online sessions in Zoom. The course is conducted in collaboration with Turku University.
